Overview
Due to growing demand for our services, we are looking for Part-Time/Full-Time PCV Coach Drivers to join our friendly and expanding team.
We are a family run, proprietor-led business, owned and managed by an experienced coach operator and driver who understands the role first hand and genuinely looks after and supports the team.
The role includes a mix of regular school runs, rail replacement work and private hires, with weekend and bank holiday work as required. We offer guaranteed minimum hours and steady, year-round work.
Responsibilities
The role involves safely and efficiently transporting passengers to scheduled destinations while ensuring a high standard of customer service. You will be responsible for completing thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey, keeping accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and any maintenance issues, and reporting defects promptly. Effective communication with colleagues, passengers, and clients is key, as is providing assistance with luggage or loading when required. Drivers are also expected to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of coaches, both internally and externally. A strong focus on health and safety and a commitment to safe driving practices are essential at all times.
Experience
We are looking for an experienced (2 Years preferred), reliable and professional driver with excellent driving skills, strong customer service and a positive, can-do attitude.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay rate of £16–£18 per hour, fully funded CPC training, pension contributions, 28 days holiday per annum (incl Bank/Public Holidays), on-site parking and branded company uniform. References maybe required.
Essential
Applicants must live within one hour’s commute of postcode AL7 3UW, hold a valid Category D licence, up to date Driver CPC and Tachograph card, fully enhanced DBS and have the right to work in the UK.
