Part-Time Sales Advisor

Bedworld – Cardiff (Leckwith Road, CF11 8AP)

14 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday)

Bedworld is one of the UK's leading bed and mattress retailers, helping thousands of customers find the perfect night's sleep. We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Advisor to join our busy Cardiff showroom.

This position is contracted for 14 hours per week, working full-day shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. However, flexibility is essential, as you'll also be expected to cover additional shifts throughout the week for holidays, sickness and business needs. This is a key requirement of the role.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while helping drive showroom sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional shopping experience.
  • Understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture.
  • Maximising sales opportunities and achieving personal sales targets.
  • Processing customer orders accurately.
  • Opening and closing the showroom as a trusted key holder.
  • Keeping the showroom clean, organised and well presented at all times.
  • Maintaining attractive product displays and merchandising standards.
  • Representing the Bedworld brand professionally and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

No previous bed industry experience is required, as full product and sales training will be provided.

Working Hours

Our showroom opening hours are:

  • Monday – Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

The contracted shift pattern is:

  • Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Applicants must have full seven-day availability, as flexibility to work additional shifts throughout the week is essential to provide holiday and sickness cover. Candidates who cannot offer this flexibility may not be suitable for the role.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in retail or customer-facing sales.
  • Confident, personable and customer-focused.
  • Motivated by achieving sales targets and earning commission.
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Comfortable working independently as a key holder.
  • Flexible and available to cover additional shifts across the week, often at short notice.
