Position: Bank – Reception/Admin

Hours & Pay: £13.30 per hour
Location: Nexus Academies
Contract Type: Bank Staff (Supply)

Are you organised, approachable, and ready to support the smooth running of our schools? Nexus Multi Academy Trust is seeking Reception and Administrative Bank Staff to join our internal staffing pool and provide essential support across our academies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly across a variety of well-regarded special schools, helping to create a welcoming and efficient environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Whether you're looking for occasional shifts or regular work, we offer assignments that fit around your life.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Experienced school receptionists or administrators
  • Professionals with customer service or office experience
  • Individuals seeking flexible or part-time work in education

You’ll need to be:

  • Friendly and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Organised and proactive, able to manage tasks independently and respond to changing priorities
  • Confident using IT systems, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office
  • Discreet and trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding

Your Role

As a Bank Reception/Admin Assistant, you’ll:

  • Greet visitors and manage front-of-house duties
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
  • Support school staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures
  • Assist with pupil-related admin, attendance, and communication with families
