Finance & Operations Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Office-based, Monday–Friday
Hours: 30 hours per week
Shifts: 8:00am–2:00pm or 10:00am–4:00pm
Salary: £32,000 pro rata (actual salary £22,588.25 for 30 hours)

All About Desserts Ltd is a growing food manufacturing business supplying high-quality desserts to retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers. We are looking for two part-time Finance & Operations Co-ordinators to join our busy office team.

This is a hands-on, varied role in a fast-paced SME environment and would suit someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of finance, operations, and office support.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in supporting Production, Operations, and QA. Working closely with the Managing Director and General Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing payroll (PAYE) and payroll queries
  • VAT returns, supplier statement reconciliations, and payment runs
  • Credit control
  • Bank, credit card, and stock reconciliations
  • Supporting stock takes and purchasing of ingredients and packaging
  • Processing customer orders from start to finish
  • General office administration, customer queries, and visitor reception
  • Supporting recruitment and HR administration via an external HR provider

About You

  • Experience in a small or medium-sized business environment
  • Confident using Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero (essential)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working across multiple functions
  • HR administration experience is an advantage
