Job Summary

We have an exciting role within the Yacht Haven Group assisting our hospitality businesses.

We are looking for someone to join the team immediately to assist the management and wider team. This is a full-time, office-based role, to help run the day-to-day procedures within the restaurants and support the expanding Yacht Haven businesses too.

Experience of working within a hospitality environment including FOH preferred.

About The Role

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and develop their accountancy knowledge. Your role will include, but is not restricted to:

· Preparation of monthly management accounts

· Review of gross margins on food and beverage sales

· Weekly analysis of revenue against costs

· Reconciliation of credit cards and cash.

· Daily banking

· Review and advice on sales by product

· Checking, processing and payment of all purchase invoices.

· Banking of cash and collection of change

· Preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT returns.

· Submitting, review and checking staff payroll and operation of the staff Tronc tip payments.

Key Requirements

Ideally you will have previously worked in the hotel, bar or restaurant business and be motivated to learn. You can be straight out of college or university, as we will train and support you to learn what needs to be done each day, week and month.

You must have exceptional excel skills, be analytical and be a self-starter with a great personality. You need to be both a team player and a motivator, but also able to work efficiently on your own and clearly explain financial information to non-accountants and consistently apply account rules.
