Job Summary - Relief Pharmacy Dispenser

We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Assistant to join an Independent/Family Pharmacy group in the Chatham and Rochester as a Relief Dispenser. The role will require flexibility to cover holidays and any other absences over the six Lawsat Pharmacies in the Medway area. It is essential that you can drive and have your own car.

As a Dispensary Assistant you will be an important member of the pharmacy teams, giving great service and helping to create loyal customers that come back time and time again.

Responsibilities and Duties

Join us as a Relief Dispensing Assistant and you will be part of your local community, giving advice, making OTC sales, dispensing prescriptions and providing solutions that help people lead healthier lives.

Qualifications and Skills

You will need to have confidence, be a team player, self motivation, with good customer skills and the ability to communicate well with patients. Good IT skills will help too. 1 year+ pharmacy experience is essential. You will be required to offer advice on medication by asking appropriate questions and involving the Pharmacist when necessary.

The working week will be between 40 - 42.5 hours, Mon-Fri 8.30am/9am to 6.00pm (1 hour for lunch) and the opportunity to work overtime, if available.
