Full job description

We have a vacancy for a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician to join our team at Westwood Square Pharmacy.

Requirements for this position should include experience working in a customer focused environment;

-Understanding of confidentiality

-Ensuring accurate handling of medicines

-Able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative -Good interpersonal skills

-Ability to prioritise work load

-Ability to work to deadlines

Main duties will include:

· Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional dispensing experience for all of our customers.

· Meeting all legal requirements. · Dispensing repeat and acute medication. · Liaising with Pharmacist and other members of the Pharmacy team

· Dealing with Dossette Boxes · Give healthcare advice

· Maintaining Pharmacy stock levels

Essential skills and requirement:

· Minimum NVQ2 qualification is required for this position. This is essential.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.

· Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask
