Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for replacing a wide range of windows and doors in uPVC and aluminium across various sites, ensuring high standards of safety and quality at all times. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Measure and prepare window openings to ensure precise fitting according to schematics and project specifications
  • Install new windows, including securing frames and ensuring proper sealing to prevent draughts and water ingress
  • Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently
  • Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out installations
  • Carry out related making good tasks such as plastering/masonry repairs.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation processes
  • Maintain a clean and organised work site, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use
  • Cummunicate with the customer, team members on site and the office to enable a professional and reliable process.

Experience

  • Proven experience of window and door fitting is essential
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols
  • Previous experience working on-site in residential or commercial projects is essential
  • A full UK driving license is required

A van, tools and PPE will be provided.
