We are seeking an experienced Wetroom/Bathroom Fitter to join our team delivering planned and responsive works within social housing properties. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality bathroom and wetroom installations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, customer satisfaction, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and refurbish bathrooms and wetrooms in occupied and void social housing properties.
  • Undertake all associated works, including plumbing, tiling, basic carpentry, and sealing to a high standard.
  • Ensure all works comply with building regulations, contract specifications, and health and safety standards.
  • Carry out work efficiently while maintaining respect for residents’ homes and privacy.
  • Identify and report additional repair/maintenance requirements where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate job records, documentation, and timesheets.
  • Liaise with tenants, site supervisors, and the wider team to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Use company systems and tools to update progress and complete compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bathroom or Wetroom Fitter (preferably within social housing or similar environments).
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plumbing or a relevant trade qualification.
  • Skills in multi-trade works such as tiling, plastering, and basic carpentry.
  • Knowledge of wetroom installation systems, tanking, and waterproofing methods.
  • Full UK driving licence (company van may be provided).
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working within occupied homes, with an understanding of safeguarding and tenant care.
