Potential/Realistic Earnings: £50,000 - £60,000 (Basic + Overtime)
Basic Salary Range: £35,000 to £38,000 + Overtime and Company Vehicle
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the drainage and plumbing industry
- Prior supervisory experience essential
- Knowledge of Drainage CCTV surveys and reports
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems
- Strong operational problem-solving skills
- Ability to give clear instructions and coach engineers both on-site and remotely
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive leadership style with the ability to influence and motivate teams
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Engineers & General Assistants, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
- Visit client sites, liaising with customers, contractors, and IVDC staff
- Enforce Health & Safety compliance and carry out site audits, incident investigations, and training
- Manage resources including labour, machinery, materials, and subcontractors
- Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and fleet management tasks
- Support Engineer and GA training
- Resolve customer and public complaints through investigation and communication
- Assist operations and sales teams with project planning and issue resolution
- Provide cover for other supervisors and take part in the out-of-hours rota
