About The Role:
Synergize delivers responsive maintenance and project works across MOD housing estates throughout London, Kent, and the Home Counties. Our schedulers allocate work requests directly to our skilled tradespeople via client-issued tablets, enabling a bespoke and efficient service to occupied properties.
We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals who can adapt to the flexible demands of our client and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently as a mobile operative carrying out responsive maintenance tasks
- Manage daily workloads effectively to meet service response targets
- Complete all work safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard
- Deliver a “right first time” fix wherever possible
- Carry out a range of multi-trade tasks including:
- Tiling
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing
- Basic carpentry
- Engage professionally with residents, resolving issues and complaints effectively when required
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and contractor responsibilities
- Complete weekly van checks to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
- Use company tablets in line with company policies and procedures
- Promote the client’s “Families First” culture
- Actively encourage a strong Health & Safety culture and report or address any issues promptly
About You:
You will be a motivated and dependable individual with a positive, can-do attitude and strong customer service skills. You will also have:
- Proven experience in one or more relevant trades
- Previous social housing experience (desirable)
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads independently
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass security clearance
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills

As a Scheduler, you will play a key role within a dedicated team responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works via the client’s asset management system, Maximo.
You will lead a team of operatives delivering responsive maintenance and minor works to MOD housing estates, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. The Working Supervisor will be hands-on, combining trade skills with supervision, coordinating daily activities, supporting compliance, and acting as the first point of contact for operative queries.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
