Food Safety & Compliance Manager

- Develop, implement, and manage plant-wide food safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and all regulatory food safety standards.
- Lead internal food safety audits, inspections, and sanitation/EMP reviews.
- Serve as master trainer for GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and pest management.
- Investigate food safety incidents, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain and monitor HACCP, CCP, and OPrP documentation and validations.
- Oversee allergen management and validation programs.
- Coordinate and oversee pest management activities and vendor performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to strengthen food safety culture and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records and update procedures, ensuring timely training for staff.
- BS degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in food safety to include training in HACCP and EMP.
- Experience with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) food safety standards, preferably FSSC22000 or British Retail Consortium (BRC).
- High degree of computer literacy
- Working knowledge of Sanitation, ISO and working SPC/statistical knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and delegate
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, stand, kneel, work over and under all equipment and machinery and be able to move about the entire factory, both interior and exterior freely
