Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber to join our GP surgery at JS Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal patient care through the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires a the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties will include:

  • Prescribing, online, F2F and telephone clinical triage, management of minor illness and LTC advice.
  • Delivering safe, clinical decisions and expert care as well as working collaboratively with all team members of a multi professional team and driving innovation, modernisation and high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Independent prescribing qualification desirable
  • Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role.
  • Previous general practice experience is a requirement
  • Previous experience in Triage is desirable
