Production Colleague- Finishing Production Operative (Days)

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday (42 hours per week)

6am – 5pm including 30-minute break

Grade/Rate of Pay:

To be discussed at interview, will increase after full training

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Wet and Dry Finishing Team. If you enjoy a physical job, working independently and being part of a team; this job could be right for you. The role will be that of a multi-skilled operative in the Wet and Dry Finishing department

Role and Responsibilities:

· You will be trained in duties across multiple machines to provide resource and support where required.

· Working to produce fabric to scheduled deadlines.

· Working as part of the team with the general upkeep of maintenance and housekeeping of the machinery, equipment and department.

· Involvement with continual improvement within the department.

· Upholding all aspects of Health and Safety within the department.

Necessary skills needed for the role:

· Attention to detail when handling and processing pieces

· Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions.

· Computer literate

· A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work

· The ability to prioritise and organise your own workload

Desirable:

· Previous experience working in a textile manufacturing environment

· Machinery Experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £12.87 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
