Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Demand/Supply Planning Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:


Your Primary role is to plan materials for WML, to ensure Direct production materials are available to support customer demand and the monthly business sales targets. This will be achieved through alignment & collaboration with the supply chain team and wider WML functions.

  • You will assist in design and development of Master Production Schedule (Forecast plans, Master plans, Coverage Groups)

  • You will maintain data in the MRP/ERP system that supports item planning, spares and obsolescence management, new product/item introduction and effectivity date for material bom changes.

  • You will process assigned Engineering Change Order tasks.

  • You will coordinate communication internally (Receiving/Quality/Material Handling/Manufacturing), to expedite shortages and potential stock outs.

  • You will identify and communicate potential stockouts which may affect sales and product lead times to Supply Chain, Customer Service and Operations.

  • You will collate and distribute MRP output to the Supply Chain in relation to Advance, Postpone, Expedite messages to meet production requirements.

  • You will schedule works orders in line with MRP output messages.

  • You will develop procedural enhancements and improvements which make our planning process more efficient and effective.

  • You will Facilitate in house paperwork for external operation at sub-contractors.

  • You will support supplier meetings and negotiations to ensure demand for materials is met.

  • You will maintain measures and data analysis in relation to shortages and late customer orders, using Gem tools to identify the root cause.

  • You will undertake system data integrity review and corrections.

  • You will promote and ensure the Company’s Health & Safety policy is followed and that all applicable improvements and concerns are recorded on the Watson-Marlow OHSAS18001 safety management system including near miss, accidents, high potential events and risk assessments.

  • You will manage the SDL table, to enable automated sales lead time for standard products.

  • Through capacity and component review you will enable and communicate a standard lead-time matrix.

  • You will provide sales dates as requested by Customer Service.

  • You will represent Planning in project teams.

Skills/Experience:


Experience of using ERP/MRP/MPS software system

Ability to effectively use computer and communication technology such as Microsoft Office, including Excel skills (strong data analysis skills).


Experience of working independently in a logical and methodical way


Data analysis and problem solving skills

Ability to collaborate with all stakeholders


Ability to work in a team environment with good customer service skills


Must be well organized, a problem solver, and work well under pressure
