Full job description

Operations Lead (Part-Time, Progressing to Full-Time) — Property Management

Location: South West (Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Newport) — must be local and drive.
Hours: Part-time initially, progressing to full-time

About us
AltoLuxo is a property management company specialising in premium short-term rentals — professionally managed, hotel-standard properties let on behalf of landlords across the South West and Midlands. We manage a portfolio of 60+ properties and are growing steadily. Our systems are well established, and we are now looking for a capable operator to take ownership of our day-to-day operations.

The role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the operation. That means holding our team to a high standard, ensuring guest issues are resolved promptly and properly, maintaining strong relationships with our landlords, and making certain nothing is overlooked. You will lead a team rather than carry out every task yourself — your role is to ensure the work is delivered to standard.

The position is varied and demanding. Within a single day you may be coordinating our remote team, supporting a landlord, resolving a guest issue, and arranging a contractor visit. It requires someone organised, composed, and able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the detail.

The role begins part-time, covering afternoons and evenings — the period of highest operational activity — across five days per week. For the right person, it progresses to a full-time operations leadership role as the company scales.

Who we are looking for
We are more interested in how you think and operate than in your job history. You may come from hospitality, property, retail, or any field that required you to manage a team and a complex operation — or you may be returning to work and looking for a role with genuine progression. What matters is that you:

  • Remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Take ownership and follow tasks through to completion without being chased
  • Manage both a team and customers effectively
  • Are highly organised, reliable, and detail-focused
  • Are confident learning new software (full training provided)

Experience of managing a remote team, or working in property or hospitality, is advantageous but not essential.

What we offer
A responsible and varied role with a clear path into senior operational leadership as the business grows, and the opportunity to help shape how a fast-growing company operates.

How to apply
Please send your CV along with a few lines on why this role appeals to you and what you would bring to it. We read every application personally and value a considered response over a polished one.

Closing date: 1st August 2026.

Pay: Up to £20,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bristol
