35 Hours per Week, Permanent

CROSS CAMPUS

Glasgow Clyde College is seeking an experienced Manager to work closely with the Head of Estates in leading the Facilities teams across our three campuses in Glasgow.

Main Responsibilities:

The role will oversee all Estates related services including planned maintenance programmes, compliance with regulations and taking a leadership role on projects and capital works. As well as internal relationship building across the College, negotiating with external vendors and contractors is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Proven experience of successfully leading a facilities team is essential and you will hold an SCQF Level 8 degree or qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field and professional membership of a recognised institution will be required.

You will require excellent communication, organisational and project management skills and the ability to be flexible in your approach to meeting the needs of customers. Working knowledge of Building Management Systems and Microsoft packages is required. The role involves cross campus travel therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.
