of enthusiastic volunteers, a dedicated management committee and the support of our

wonderful community, we now wish to ensure further growth, sustainability and

resilience through the appointment of a shop manager.

What we are offering

slow-moving stock and taking action as required

  • Support fundraising events to promote the shop

Administration:

  • Maintain and further develop a list of suppliers, using local businesses

where possible

  • Respond appropriately to requests from customers for new products or

services

  • Order stock, developing a good working relationship with suppliers

ensuring the shop achieves the best quality and value.

  • Arrange payment of suppliers in accordance with agreed terms
  • Check invoices from suppliers against stock records
  • Arrange deliveries and collections
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of the Post Office systems and liaise

with those responsible for day-to-day operations.

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those relating to

compliance and risk management, with particular reference to finance,

health and safety, fire safety, food hygiene, alcohol and underage items and

safeguarding

  • Complete all administration tasks to standards and deadlines agreed

with the management committee

  • Keep the management committee aware of any potential issues which

may need addressing

  • Attend and report to management committee meetings
