About the Role

RCI Group is growing, and with that growth comes the need for strong, consistent and purposeful communication. We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to sit at the centre of our Sales and Marketing function, shaping how we present ourselves externally and how we connect internally across our services.

This is a hands on role with real influence. You will lead the planning and delivery of marketing and communications activity across the Group, supporting brand visibility, service awareness, employee engagement and commercial growth. Working closely with senior leaders, you will turn strategy into clear messaging, campaigns and content that reflects who we are, what we do and why it matters.

Based from our Stevenage office and reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership, build structure and leave a lasting imprint on a purpose led organisation.

Job Opportunity

The Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating marketing and communications activity across RCI Group and its service businesses.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing and owning annual marketing plans aligned to organisational priorities
  • Working with leadership teams to shape content, messaging and communication strategy
  • Translating business objectives into clear, engaging campaigns and content
  • Planning and delivering multi channel marketing activity across digital, print and events
  • Creating high quality content for websites, social media, newsletters and marketing collateral
  • Managing and developing digital platforms, with particular focus on LinkedIn and websites
  • Ensuring all content reflects brand standards, values and service quality

Brand and digital ownership will be central to the role, including:

  • Maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and materials
  • Managing Canva templates and producing professional visual assets
  • Supporting teams to correctly apply brand guidance and use shared assets
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of multiple websites

Internal communications will form a key part of the role, with responsibility for:

  • Establishing clear and consistent internal communication rhythms
  • Keeping colleagues informed, aligned and engaged across the Group
  • Working with leaders and teams to gather stories, updates and insights
  • Creating content that reinforces our mission, culture and achievements

Performance, insight and reporting responsibilities include:

  • Tracking campaign performance and engagement metrics
  • Using data to refine content, channels and overall effectiveness
  • Providing clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting audit, compliance and quality reporting where required

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands on delivery, with the confidence to operate at pace while maintaining high standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including at senior level

Desirable

  • Experience within healthcare or public sector environments

  • Experience with SEO, SEM and digital campaign optimisation
