About the Role:
Our global Reuters News Internship Program gives you the chance to fast-track your journalism career and develop your skills across a variety of subjects and media. We welcome passionate and curious reporters, producers and photojournalists who want to tell stories for a global audience. Reuters seeks diverse candidates from all backgrounds and is excited to work with emerging talent who can cover breaking news and tell in-depth stories from new perspectives.
We are looking for an intern to work in our Live Pages department in our London newsroom. Live Pages is a direct-to-consumer scrolling multimedia feed of text, video, pictures, graphics, and social media in a mobile-first presentation for the biggest stories of the day. Sometimes that will be coverage of scheduled events – elections, awards ceremonies and the like – and other times it will be breaking news.

The role:

Paid 12-week internship, starting from 22nd June, 2026

An assigned Senior Editor as a mentor

Formal training and coaching

Interns are expected to bring ideas, energy, enthusiasm, and a start-up mentality to a versatile cross-discipline team

Monitor Reuters TV, picture, and social media output to report on the biggest global stories

Participants who excel may be considered for future opportunities at Reuters

Applicants must be in their final or penultimate year of university to be considered for our summer internship program
