Gladman and Norman produce State insignia and medals for governments around the world, including the UK awards of the Insignia of The Royal Red Cross 1st and 2nd Class (RRC) and (ARRC), the Order of the British Empire 4th and 5th Class (OBE) and (MBE) and proudly the Company designed and produces the Elizabeth Cross.

This role is integral to the Company, to oversee production quality checks across multiple manufacturing lines, once the medals and products have left the factory floor. The role also involves admin duties such as order processing and stock control to maintain smooth factory operations.

The job role:

  • Conduct production quality checks across multiple lines to ensure products meet standards.
  • Use Sage 200 to process orders, manage despatches, and raise invoices.
  • Manage stock control
  • Answer the phone and the door for visitors
  • Organise and prioritise daily workload
  • Maintain accurate documentation in all aspects of the role

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory administrative environment.
  • Working knowledge of Sage 200 (or similar ERP system) for order management and stock control.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and non-conformance reporting.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellecnt communicator
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Hours: 07:30-16:00 Mon-Thurs, 07:30-14:15 Friday.

Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
