About The Role

About The Role:
Shift Start Time: 08:00
Shift End Time: 17:00
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Pay Per Hour: £13.20

Life as an AMFRESH Shelf Life Assistant/Quality Controller:

  • Train in and understand the QC role at Levels 1 and 2
  • Reporting any quality issues on shelf and providing reports to the technical teams and suppliers on a daily/weekly basis
  • Complete end of season summaries for each supplier, detailing the shelf life results through the season. Report data into the Technical team for end of season reviews.
  • Performing any packaging or fruit shelf life trials as required and detailed by the technical team
  • Perform weekly comparative shopping exercises, preparing data to be sent for customer benchmarking.
  • Collect and prepare samples for the Technical / Quality teams as required, for couriers to pick up samples.
  • Daily toolbox issue and management, calibration schedules, maintain daily calibration records for equipment, ensuring all records are filed correctly.
  • Assist the Supervisor, Senior and Quality Manager in the completion and execution of internal audits. E.g. Glass and Brittle materials, GMP site inspections document control etc.
  • Performing and recording titrations as required by the quality team
  • Supporting the QC function in peak periods
  • Any further administration duties as requested by the Quality or Technical teams

About You

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions, maintaining productivity and quality standards in various situations
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and carry out tasks in a timely manner
  • Good all around communication skills and basic understanding of English language
  • Proficiency in both Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance role is beneficial ( experience within fruit industry would be an advantage)
