Qualified Secondary School Teacher (QTS)

Location: Nottingham
Start Date: ASAP or September start

About the Role:

Link3 Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and committed Qualified Secondary School Teachers (QTS) to join our partner schools across Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a trusted education recruitment agency that puts people first.

We are currently recruiting for a variety of subject specialists to work in a number of secondary schools. Whether you're an experienced teacher or newly qualified, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
  • Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively, following school policies
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Contribute to the school’s wider community and extracurricular life
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum (KS3 and KS4, KS5 desirable)
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable:

  • Prior teaching experience in UK secondary schools
  • Flexibility to cover across different year groups or subject areas
  • Additional qualifications (e.g., SEND, EAL, safeguarding training)
