We are looking for a QA to join our friendly technical team for 3 months in Leeds.

Hourly Rate - £14.34
Weekly Hours - 40 hours
Shift Pattern - 5am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for providing quality auditing duties in accordance with quality, BRC and safety standards
  • Supporting the production teams with QAS, and providing expertise and verifying conformance.
  • Responsibility for inspection of key raw materials and key packaging items for production, and be the key contact for suppliers, to ensure raw materials and packaging received are to the correct specifications and standards.
  • Carry out temperature recording equipment and weighing scales verifications on a daily basis.
  • Conduct and organise environmental swabbing and product analysis
  • Monitor CCP Checks and ensure failsafe checks are completed
  • Maintain documentation control
  • Reporting on daily/weekly/monthly KPIs
  • Support the wider technical team in collating information for complaints, traceability or other requirements necessary.
  • Assist with third party audits

  • Previous QA/QC experience in an FMCG environement
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience of assisting in audits
  • Food Safety, Internal Auditor and HACCP qualifications are desirable
