Electronic Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Stevenage
Salary: Up to £50,000
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer, with a background in electronics, looking to take the next step in your career?
As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the design, manufacturing and production processes. We are seeking candidates with a solid background in quality assurance, particularly in the electronic sector. Your expertise will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to significant problem-solving efforts.
Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Product Non-Conformance. Facilitate implementation of the Non-conformance process. Support design and manufacturing defect investigations
  • Utilise methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and DMAIC to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product assurance and overall manufacturing quality.
  • Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate Quality risks and issues for in house equipment’s with the aim of reducing risk and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in engineering process improvement and facilitate local flash audits providing compliance and process improvement ideas.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A strong background as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience within manufacturing or production environments, specifically related to electronic engineering.
  • A practitioner of current QA problem-solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
