Full job description

Registered Manager, Residential Dementia Care Home

Hinckley

£65,000 + bonus

A state-of-the-art residential dementia care home in Hinckley is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the service through the final stages of commissioning and into sustained operational success.

This newly developed home is approaching the end of its commissioning phase and now requires a strong, capable leader to embed high standards, strengthen compliance, and build a culture of excellence. With some early compliance issues identified, this role would suit a manager with proven experience in commissioning new services or successfully turning around underperforming homes.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the home through the final stages of commissioning, ensuring readiness for full occupancy and regulatory inspections.
  • Strengthening compliance, quality, and governance across all areas of the service.
  • Providing strong, supportive leadership to a developing team, embedding a positive and person-centred culture.
  • Driving occupancy, financial performance, and overall service development.
  • Working closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders to ensure the home meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager / General Manager in adult social care.
  • Background in commissioning new services or leading turnarounds in residential or dementia care.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and quality standards.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused leader with the confidence to drive change and improvement.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating a thriving home environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a premium, modern service and lead it into its next phase of development. If you’re a dynamic leader ready to make a significant impact, we’d love to hear from you.
