Join a dynamic manufacturing team where your quality expertise will drive continuous improvement and ensure excellence across automotive assembly and stamping processes.

Salary: £29,000–£30,000 per year
Quality Technician – Permanent
Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:30
Location: Stanley

We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to support quality assurance across assembly and stamping processes. Reporting to the Quality Engineer and Group Quality Manager, you will handle customer concerns, internal investigations, audits, inspections and support continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customer and internal containment activities
  • Conduct product & process audits (IATF 16949)
  • Investigate quality concerns using 8D
  • Carry out inspections, capability studies, MSA and calibrations
  • Manage supplier concerns and maintain quality documentation
  • Support jig making and measurement setups

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in manufacturing (automotive/off-highway desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving & auditor skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings/specifications
  • Quality, engineering and tooling knowledge
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • GD&T and IATF 16949 auditing experience desirable
