At APLUSA, we don’t just conduct market research — we help healthcare decision-makers see the full picture by listening to those who experience and deliver care every day. Patients, doctors, nurses… their voices are at the heart of everything we do.

A global leader in healthcare market research, APLUSA is:

  • A team of 150+ passionate professionals
  • 4 international offices
  • A company that is engaged, human, and agile
  • Meaningful projects in a stimulating and flexible work environment

Your challenge!

About the Role

You will join a small, high-performing qualitative insights team of six people, where this role plays a key part in strengthening both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery capacity.

This is a senior individual contributor position, with no formal line-management responsibilities. You will act as a strategic partner, methodological expert, and operational reinforcement. Beyond strategic framing and insight delivery, this role requires the ability and willingness to personally execute end-to-end French and International qualitative studies, from research design and fieldwork coordination to analysis, storytelling, and client presentation.

You will also act as a mentor and reference point for team members, helping them grow through expertise and informal coaching.

What You’ll Do

End-to-End Qualitative Research Delivery

  • Independently lead qualitative studies from research design to final insight delivery, including fieldwork management and analysis.
  • Translate qualitative data into structured, actionable insights with clear strategic implications.
  • Present findings confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project delivery, quality, and timelines, proactively addressing risks and improvement areas.
  • Ensure full adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements (pharmacovigilance, transparency, data protection, etc.).

Strategic & Methodological Contribution

  • Support and challenge client briefs to ensure research addresses the right strategic questions.
  • Act as a senior qualitative expert, raising the level of insight quality, rigor, and storytelling across projects.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of qualitative methodologies and analytical frameworks

AI, Tools & Innovation

  • Contribute to the development and adoption of new qualitative approaches, including digital, AI-enabled (e.g. transcription, coding, synthesis, insight acceleration), or hybrid qualitative solutions.
  • Identify opportunities where technology can enhance efficiency, depth of analysis, or storytelling.
  • Share knowledge, templates, and best practices to ensure consistent excellence across projects.

Mentorship & Team Support (No Line Management)

  • Act as a mentor and sparring partner for team members, supporting skill development through hands-on guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Support continuity and stability of qualitative delivery in a small-team environment
  • Work closely with the Qualitative Director and Business Unit leaders on high-impact initiatives

Who you are!

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience in qualitative market research, ideally within healthcare
  • Proven ability to run qualitative studies independently and end-to-end
  • Strong methodological expertise
  • Experience with AI-driven qualitative tools, or a strong interest and ability to adopt new technologies
  • Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to structure complex insights clearly.
  • Comfortable mentoring colleagues without hierarchical authority.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong understanding of compliance, data protection, and regulated research standards
  • Highly autonomous, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small-team setting
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Curious, reliable, impact-driven, results-oriented and motivated to push qualitative research forward

What you’ll love at APLUSA !

  • A meaningful job with real impact in healthcare
  • A caring management style and collaborative culture
  • A strong focus on work-life balance, with:
  • Hybrid organisation : blending remote working and central London office
  • Private health insurance
  • Early finish Fridays
  • Team days off site twice a year
  • A growing UK team in central London
