Reynco Ltd are delighted to be supporting a specialist roofing and building-envelope contractor in the appointment of an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team, delivering major Energy-From-Waste projects across North London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing QS who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and high-performing team who will provide genuine mentorship and support, while still giving you the autonomy to take ownership of your own projects. For the right individual, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position within the next 12 to 24 months.

Quantity Surveyor

Location: North London (Site-Based)
Remuneration/Salary: £60-£70K, Travel package, bonus, private medical

About the Company

Our client is a leading specialist within the roofing, cladding and building-envelope sector, with decades of experience delivering complex industrial, energy and infrastructure schemes across the UK. Their core expertise includes single-ply systems, large-scale composite cladding installation, rainscreen façades, fire-wall construction and full envelope delivery on live, high-risk construction environments. They are known for strong safety culture, programme reliability and hands-on technical understanding of high-value energy projects.

The Role

  • Working with a Commercial Manager, you will manage the commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through delivery and final account.
  • Administer and manage NEC & JCT contracts, including subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and compensation events.
  • Produce accurate commercial reporting, forecasting, and cost control including carrying out CVR’s.
  • Maintain high standards of commercial governance, documentation and reporting in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and control subcontractor commercial performance across multiple work packages.
  • Support client-facing commercial discussions in a dynamic environment, ensuring all commercial activity is auditable and compliant.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between programme, cost, risk and quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior commercial team members where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (4-5Yrs) gained within major construction/infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of Roofing/Cladding packages
  • Confident in handling frameworks, straightforward contract administration as well as managing complex subcontractor supply chains and work packages.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC & JCT
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Based in or near North London, with flexibility for occasional wider travel.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented.
