Laboratory Technical Analyst
10 Month Contract
£21.88 per hour Inside IR35 Umbrella Rate
Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting scientific research, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations. Duties
- Conduct precise analysis of samples using established laboratory techniques and equipment
- Maintain and operate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to record, track, and manage data accurately
- Perform routine quality control tests to ensure products meet specified standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed reports summarising findings and observations for review by senior staff
- Assist in the development and optimisation of analytical methods and procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and laboratory best practices at all times
- Support inventory management by ordering supplies and maintaining laboratory cleanliness and organisation
- Collaborate with research teams to facilitate scientific investigations and data collection
Requirements
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within scientific research or quality control environments
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of FDA regulations relevant to laboratory operations and product testing
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations pertinent to laboratory analyses
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant educational background in science, chemistry, biology, or related fields is preferred
