We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our flagship Alfred Street café in the heart of Bath.

This is not your average café role. Alfred Street is one of our highest-profile, highest-volume cafés, fast-paced, commercially driven, and hugely important to our business. We need a confident, people-first leader who thrives in busy environments, knows how to drive performance, and can inspire a large team to deliver consistently brilliant hospitality.

What you’ll be doing

As General Manager, you’ll have full ownership of the café, leading from the front to deliver:

• Outstanding guest experiences, every single day
• Strong commercial performance across sales, labour, and profit
• High standards in food, coffee, cleanliness, and atmosphere
• A positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
• Recruitment, development, and coaching of future leaders
• Smooth operational delivery in a high-volume environment

This is a role for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys the buzz of a busy operation, and understands how to balance people, standards, and commercial success.

What we’re looking for

• Have experience leading a high-volume hospitality business
• Are commercially minded and confident managing KPIs and P&L performance
• Know how to motivate and develop large teams
• Lead with energy, positivity, and accountability
• Stay calm under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment
• Are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

Experience as a General Manager, Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Café Manager in a busy hospitality setting is essential.
