Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting health and wellness, with the ability to motivate clients of all fitness levels. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your coaching skills and contribute positively to our members' fitness journeys. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their career within the health and fitness industry and would ideally suit someone who has the ambition to operate independantly and step up to make the space their own and to reap the longterm rewards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging and effective fitness classes tailored to diverse client needs and abilities
  • Provide personalised coaching and guidance during one-on-one training sessions
  • Develop customised workout programmes based on individual goals and fitness levels
  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and injury prevention
  • Motivate clients to achieve their fitness objectives through encouragement and support
  • Monitor client progress and adjust programmes accordingly
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for all participants
  • Stay informed about current fitness trends, techniques, and health guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction is desirable
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology is essential
  • Certification in fitness instruction or relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles
  • Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and build rapport with clients of varying ages and abilities
  • Organised, reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours that may include evenings or weekends as required (We operate the classes currently from 6am to 8am and 5pm to 8pm)

We currently have space in our timetable to accommodate a fitness professional who is comfortable operating group fitness classes. We specialise in boxing, however, our non boxing business is growing and we would love to add a new skill set to the business. As a freelance fitness professional this would suit someone who has an exitsting client portfolio OR someone who is looking to build one. Whether you would like to run a pilates class, small group or personal training, we have a well equipped facility to accommodate anyone who wants to work to high standards and help develop their business as well as ours. Our ideal goal would be for the succesful candidate to progress to fully managing daily operations and maximising the full potential of the business as well as personal development.

Pay: £13.50-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
