C+E Driving Licence Required.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and a strong understanding of vehicle operation. The position is paid and suitable for those who are organised, safety-conscious, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including beavertail 5.2T lorries with a Trailer, to deliver Vehicles to designated locations.
- Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and punctuality.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Load and unload Vehicles with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during every journey.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, with a solid understanding of driving regulations.
- Strong driving skills, including experience with flatbed vehicles and Vehicle logistics.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience operating a <PERSON> driver system or similar fleet management software is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Organised with the ability to plan routes effectively while maintaining flexibility for unforeseen circumstances. This role offers an engaging environment for drivers committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.
