Pizzucci
From the team behind Bosco Pizzeria, our focus for us as always will be on using the best Italian produce, but this time we will are serving up New York style pizza, with pizza by the slice, arancini, frozen margaritas, great music & soft serve ice cream to eat in or take out.
What we need
Ideally we are looking for someone who is currently fulfilling a Head Chef position currently, or a Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step forward in their career.
We are looking for a driven, ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate Head Chef who enjoys being an inspirational leader of a kitchen team.
You will also need a solid financial understanding in the kitchen and a love for being part of a busy & lively restaurant atmosphere.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Full operational control over the day to day running of the kitchen
- Ensuring every dish that leaves the pass is cooked & presented to the highest standards
- Training all members of your team to develop them to be the best chefs they can be
- Full rota control and responsibility, along with the general manager, for achieving payroll targets
- Following stock control procedures to hit a GP target
- Liaising with our suppliers for ordering
- Ensuring that all relevant H&S and food safety obligations are adhered to and managed using our systems
- Ensuring that a positive working environment is maintained, where all members of staff continue to learn and progress
What we are offering:
- Base Salary of £38,500 per annum
- Tronc tips estimated between £4k - £5k annually. All tips are evenly shared between all employees.
- Bonus: Up to £4,000 additional bonus potential
- Overtime Pay: Get paid for any hours worked beyond your contracted days at your normal hourly rate

What we require:
- Previous experience as a Head chef or at least 2 years at Sous chef level
- The production and management of dough
- Good hand stretched pizza skills
- Management and a good understanding of pizza ovens
- A positive attitude and the ability to transmit this to inspire and train your team
- The ability to calmly and cooly run busy services in an open kitchen
- An attention to detail to allow you to produce the best food you can
