Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician and Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicles and equipment within our workshop. Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
• Diagnose mechanical issues using specialised tools and equipment, then implement effective solutions
• Perform bodywork repairs, including panel alignment, dent removal, and painting preparation
• Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle, repair, or replace faulty components
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts utilised
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or bodywork
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily duties
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or body repair are desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment

Pay: £350.00-£450.00 per week
