Full-time Live-out Nanny Monday to Thursday

A lovely family based near Stow-on-the-Wold are looking for a long-term experienced and reliable nanny for their 2 children. One girl aged 2 and a newborn boy.

They are looking for someone who is experienced with young children working closely with the mother who will be working from home 2-3 days a week. Although the role is primarily Monday to Thursday the family would very much like someone who would be able to work approximately one Saturday morning a month, and to travel with them two weeks a year.

Key Responsibilities:

● Providing nurturing care to a newborn and a two-year-old

● Engaging the children in educational and developmental activities with a focus on arts and crafts

● Supporting the mother in caring for both children

● Preparing balanced, healthy meals for the family

● General nursery duties including light household chores related to the children (e.g.tidying play areas, children’s laundry etc).

● Helping with the bathtime and bedtime routine

The Ideal Candidate should be:

● Passionate about childcare, well-organised, and intuitive about children’s developmental needs

● Creative and imaginative, someone who enjoys engaging children in stimulating activities

● Willing to take on light household duties surrounding the children (there is a housekeeper who comes in on a daily basis)

● A confident cook, able to produce nutritionally balanced meals

● Proven longevity in previous roles with impeccable references

● Accommodating and willing to lend an extra pair of hands around the house

Days/Hours

● Working Monday – Thursday

● 8am – 6pm but could be 9am to 6pm if the candidate preferred

● Circa one Saturday morning a month

● Holiday travel with the family for 2 weeks a year (normally August)

● Ad-hoc babysitting

Salary Circa £45,000 to £55,000 - depending on hours and experience
