Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant service, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves providing attentive service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of our establishment. The successful applicant will be a team player committed to creating a welcoming environment for all guests with excellent time management and upselling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen team
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area at all times
  • Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties as required
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all food items
  • Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
  • Manage guest queries promptly, providing excellent guest services to enhance their experience
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
  • Handle transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service in a front-of-house role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures
  • Experience in serving, food preparation, and basic kitchen operations is preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Good understanding of guest services principles and the ability to upsell menu items confidently
  • Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing bills accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • A friendly, professional demeanour with excellent communication skills
