Freelance Photographer

Job Summary
Local freelance photographers wanted for regular assignments! We are seeking experienced photographers to capture pre-determined image sets, predominantly of damaged assets, to aid in insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, with the ability to work independently to quick turnaround times and manage multiple assignments. We are a nationwide network of photographers, offering regular freelance photography work in insurance, damage assessment and investigation sectors. You have full control over the assignments you take onboard, payment is set per assignment complete and is released via a weekly BACS on all completed jobs where funds have been received by the customer.

Service Certainty™ works alongside some of the UK’s top insurers, such as AVIVA and COVEA, providing imaging solutions for claims. The opportunities for our photographer network have significantly increased in recent months and as a result we are looking to recruit additional photographers across the UK and Ireland.

Service Certainty™ offers a unique and independent service designed to provide high quality, on site images for multiple purposes - quickly and efficiently. This may be for damage assessment of a motor vehicle, property damage, the view on the approach to an incident site or any other asset.

Our national network of photographers in the UK have a desire to travel locally to predominantly residential locations to take a series of pre-determined digital images for insurance claims.

The fee will vary according to the service level requested, they range between £15-£30, priced based on time on site and the reasoning NO IMAGE EDITING is needed. A key role our photographers play is aiding in preventing fraud, our customers may need to prove that our images are completely unedited.

You select which postcodes you would like to cover to make this viable for you, we encourage photographers to take on jobs in area’s you may travel to for alternative work also!

You will need to provide use of your own photographic equipment, keep your liability insurance details up to date and have the ability to upload your pictures via our web portal for verification.

We do not charge a fee for photographers to sign up, once successfully registered you will be given access to our bespoke progressive web app, where jobs are sent via push notification as well as email. The app will generate all of your invoices and process them for payment.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients to organise appointments in line with SLA's set
• Maintain regular updates on assignment logs as to the progress of the booking and image capture
• Capture high quality images, meeting all requested shots in the image guidance provided
• Upload images and any requested commentary via the web portal for review, on the same date they are captured

Experience

• Proficiency in operating a DSLR camera
• You must provide your own public liability insurance
• You must be fluent in the English language
• Experience in customer service, arranging and managing your bookings via telephone and email is desired
• Ability to manage your workload in accordance with the SLA
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for lighting
• No editing is required, our images are used in fraud prevention and therefore cannot be altered
