Sales Coordinator
Full-time | Permanent | Office-based
Salary: £28,000 per year + uncapped commission
Expected earnings: £50,000 per year
Location: Newmarket
Working hours: 9:00-17:30 : Mon-Fri
We are looking for a motivated, organised and confident Sales Coordinator to join our growing telecoms company.
This is a varied office-based role with a strong focus on sales, supported by customer communication and administration. You will respond to warm enquiries, follow up genuine sales opportunities, speak with existing and prospective customers, process sales information and help ensure the day-to-day operations remain organised and efficient.
There is no cold calling. You will work with warm leads, customer enquiries and genuine sales opportunities.
The position would suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers, is motivated by achieving sales results and is equally comfortable managing administrative tasks, updating systems and following processes accurately.
You should be confident using computers and able to learn new internal and external systems quickly. The role involves working across a number of systems to manage sales activity, customer enquiries and administrative tasks, so accuracy, adaptability and the ability to follow processes are important.
As we operate within the telecoms industry, a natural interest in technology and a tech-savvy approach would be beneficial, although previous technical knowledge or telecoms experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to warm sales enquiries by telephone and email
- Follow up existing leads and genuine sales opportunities
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable telecoms products and services
- Build professional relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Prepare quotations and accurately process customer orders
- Learn and use a number of internal and external systems to manage sales opportunities, customer communications and related administration accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer records and ensure internal systems are kept up to date
- Complete sales-related administration and documentation
- Monitor outstanding actions and ensure opportunities are followed up promptly
- Support existing customers with relevant account and service enquiries
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments when required
- Help maintain organised and efficient day-to-day operations
About You

- Reliable, punctual and able to attend the office consistently
- Motivated by commission and individual performance
A tech-savvy approach or an interest in technology would be beneficial but is not essential. Previous experience in sales, customer service, administration or telecoms would also be beneficial. However, applicants with strong transferable skills and the right attitude will be considered.
