Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Hybrid/Remote (must be able to attend our Milton Keynes offices at least once per month)
Department: Finance
Reports To: Financial Controller

About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our growing Managed IT Servicesbusiness. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insight that supports data-driven decision-making across the company.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-moving environment and has a passion for numbers, processes, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounting and reconciliations for multiple service contracts.
- Process and analyse accounts payable, accounts receivable, and supplier invoices.
- Support revenue recognition for recurring service contracts and project-based billing.
- Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with operations to track project profitability and cost allocations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in accounting workflows.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified preferred).
- Previous experience as a Financial Accountant — ideally in Managed IT Services, MSP, or technology-based environments.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
- Understanding of deferred revenue, cost of service delivery, and recurring billing models.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
