Chef – Daytime Position (Whitechurch Durham)

Whitechurch in Durham is looking for a reliable and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a great role for someone who wants to work in hospitality but is looking for a better work life balance, as this is a daytime position with no late night finishes.

We are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in their food, and can work well as part of a team.

The role will include:

Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant
Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team during service
Maintaining good food safety and hygiene standards
Helping with prep, service and close-down duties

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous kitchen experience
Is reliable, organised and punctual
Works well under pressure
Has a positive attitude
Takes pride in presentation and consistency
Can work independently as well as part of a team

Experience in a café, restaurant, brunch or fresh-food kitchen would be ideal, but the most important thing is the right attitude and reliability.
