About ZAVA
We believe healthcare should be accessible, dependable and affordable for everyone. Now part of Hims & Hers Health, Inc., one of the fastest-growing digital health companies in the world, we’re entering an exciting new chapter as we expand our reach and accelerate our impact.
We’re doing more than providing healthcare. We’re empowering people to take control of their health, and with Hims & Hers' support, we’re scaling our vision to become a global leader in digital healthcare.
The role
As an online healthcare provider, we carry out a range of testing and treatment services for patients. Your role will be in our non-patient-facing mail-order pharmacy, supporting the supply and dispensing of medications to patients.
You will adhere to ethical, professional and legal pharmacy standards. This may at times involve you acting as the main dispenser, helping to coordinate our pharmacy operations.
You will deliver the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines, e.g. labelling, dispensing, and packaging of medications and test kits. You will need to be diligent, show close attention to detail and be familiar with working on high-volume repetitive tasks at scale.
This is a great opportunity to be part of our team, working directly alongside our pharmacists and doctors. We do not have any pressure-driven targets, and we guarantee you a lunch break out of the pharmacy every day. In addition, you will work with our customer support and operations teams to deliver efficient dispensary operations, building out the best service offering for our patients.
Key accountabilities
Labelling, Dispensing, Dispatching: Labelling and dispensing a range of different prescriptions and preparing them for dispatch to patients across the UK.
Stock Management and Sorting: Supporting the wider team to help manage the stock levels of medication and consumables in the pharmacy, including handling and storing of stock.
Maintain Work Areas: Keep your work area clear and tidy at all times.
Order Processing: You will be required to use our database, tools, computer equipment and scanner to help manage the dispatch of medication and test kits.
Excellence and quality: You strive for and help others achieve high standards. You are instrumental in communicating, collaborating and interacting with the operations team at all levels to ensure that the service provided to our patients is excellent.
What you can expect
Opportunity to support healthcare at scale: We are building the future of healthcare. We want you to push the boundaries of what is possible to do remotely and try new things.
Ongoing support and training: Full training in online pharmacy and opportunities to develop a career in digital healthcare - an exciting and continually evolving new field! We also provide ongoing support from our clinical team, including support for CPD.
Chance to influence the future of healthcare: It is through technology that ZAVA has been able to make efficiency gains in the healthcare sector. To continue pushing boundaries and expand the company, our technology needs to evolve and grow, and you will play a significant role in deciding what we do next.
