Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our growing healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth administrative operations within a busy medical practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing appointments and scheduling clinics
  • Handling patient enquiries (phone, email)
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and patient files
  • Organising letters and reports
  • Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Processing referrals and correspondence
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical software systems
  • Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)

We are looking for 1 part time secretary x 20 hours. Payment pro rata. There is scope for increasing to full time hours.
