  • Contract: Employed, full time
  • Term: Fixed term, mid-August 2026 (start date TBC) to 31 December 2026
  • Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
  • Location: Remote-first, with regular in-person delivery days across Sussex (Brighton and Eastbourne) and some days at Plus X, Brighton
  • Closing Date: Weds 24th June

As one of two Learner Success Managers across our Sussex Skills Bootcamps, you will lead on learning support and SEND: needs assessments, reasonable adjustments, inclusive-practice guidance for tutors, and the early, attentive support that keeps people engaged and progressing.

We are hiring a full-time Learner Success Manager to lead learning support and SEND across our Wave 7 Skills Bootcamps in Sussex. You will be one of two Learner Success Managers sharing a caseload of around 125 learners across all five programmes (about 60 each), working closely with tutors and the Bootcamp Operational team.

What you'll do

  • Lead on learning support and SEND for all learners across the programme
  • Carry out learning support needs assessments and turn them into clear ILP actions
  • Agree, record and embed reasonable adjustments, following an Assess, Plan, Do, Review approach
  • Coordinate fortnightly SEND operations and act as the named specialist contact for learners with additional needs
  • Advise and informally train tutors on inclusive teaching, without lowering expectations
  • Support engagement, retention and completion, escalating risks early

Who should apply

  • Experience in learner support, SEND, pastoral care or coaching
  • High emotional intelligence and resilience
  • A strong understanding of neurodiversity and barriers to learning in adult education
  • Confident advising teaching staff on reasonable adjustments and inclusive practice
  • Organised, confident working independently and remotely, and able to travel across Sussex for in-person days
