We’re looking for a confident and organised Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Salisbury.
This is a high-volume café kitchen, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves leading a team during busy services, and takes pride in delivering consistently great food.
At Boston Tea Party, our kitchens are all about fresh food, teamwork and brilliant service, and the Sous Chef plays a key role in making that happen every day.
What you’ll be doing
As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you’ll support the Kitchen Manager in running a busy kitchen and making sure every service runs smoothly.
You’ll be:
- Supporting the leadership of a high-volume kitchen team
- Delivering fast, consistent and high-quality food during busy services
- Leading shifts and keeping the kitchen organised under pressure
- Supporting stock control, ordering and kitchen GP
- Helping train and develop chefs and kitchen assistants
- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who enjoys the buzz of a busy kitchen and knows how to keep a team focused during peak service.
You’ll likely:
- Have experience as a Senior Chef, Sous Chef or Assistant Kitchen Manager
- Be confident leading a kitchen during high-volume service
- Be organised and able to keep service flowing smoothly
- Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Enjoy developing and supporting your team
