Floor Staff – Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly Floor Staff to join our hospitality team. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and supporting smooth restaurant operations. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests
• Take and serve food and drink orders efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and follow food safety standards
• Handle customer requests and deliver excellent service
• Support upselling and promote menu items
• Assist with basic food preparation when needed
• Process payments accurately using the POS system

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good organisation and time management
• Basic maths skills for cash handling
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage
