About the Studio
The studio works across fine art, collectible design, innovative material creation, luxury interiors, and collaborations with leading brands, delivering both independent works and private and public commissions.

Operating from an integrated workshop and production facility in Southeast London, they are known for their collaborative culture, exacting standards, and commitment to craftsmanship. Their work balances elemental scale with intricate detail, often in metals and resins, while embracing a wide range of materials and processes.

They welcome individuals who bring technical skill, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to a high-performing, team-driven environment.

The studio is seeking an experienced CNC Technician to play a key role within their workshop and production team. This position sits at the intersection of precision engineering and creative experimentation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone technically confident and creatively minded, who enjoys problem solving, developing new processes, and collaborating with artists, designers, and fabricators to realise ambitious ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage CNC machinery to a high technical and safety standard.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to translate concepts into manufacturable outcomes.
  • Develop, test, and refine CNC processes across art and production applications.
  • Support material testing, tooling development, and process improvement.
  • Contribute to planning and delivery of CNC output in line with project timelines.
  • Maintain clear communication with workshop and production teams to support shared targets.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and workshop standards are consistently upheld.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record within a workshop or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of CNC equipment (laser, router, 3D printer, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Rhino.
  • Fluency in CAM software and confidence working from technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of materials, mechanics, and operational workflows.
  • Desirable: familiarity with G-code, gantry routers, or robotic systems (UR).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative production environment, is comfortable working in ambiguity, and is motivated by pushing the capabilities of machinery and materials. You will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, taking pride in contributing to work that demands both precision and innovation.
