Full job description
At Creature Comforts, we are redesigning the entire veterinary experience making access to care seamless, joyful, and part of everyday life. With beautifully designed clinics and purpose built technology, we are creating spaces that feel more like a sanctuary than a surgery. A place where pets, their owners, and our teams genuinely want to spend time.
We are building the vet group of the future and we are looking for exceptional people to be part of it.
As a Practice Host, you are the face of our clinic.
You are the first welcome, the calm in a busy moment, and the person our members trust. This role blends front of house excellence with behind the scenes organisation to ensure every visit feels effortless.
You will build genuine relationships with our members and their pets, creating an experience that is warm, personal and memorable every single time.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Deliver an exceptional, high touch experience for every member and their pet
- Build strong, lasting relationships through outstanding communication and care
- Manage the reception space, keeping it calm, welcoming and beautifully presented
- Support the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and appointment management
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy, including supporting members through difficult moments
- Drive membership engagement and help grow our community
- Support with admin including bookings, insurance claims and client communications
- Be part of creating a culture that people and pets genuinely want to be part of
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinic as a team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong customer service experience, ideally in veterinary, healthcare or hospitality
- Someone who genuinely loves working with people and animals
- Calm, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator who can handle both everyday interactions and emotional situations
- A team player who brings energy, care and accountability
- Someone who takes pride in creating a beautiful, welcoming environment
Why Join Creature Comforts
- 200 hours annual leave plus bank holidays, and your birthday off after one year’s service
- Salary sacrifice pension scheme (5% employee, 3% employer contribution)
- Genuine career progression as we grow across London and beyond
- A supportive, inclusive culture where your development is taken seriously
- Regular team and company social events
- The opportunity to be part of something genuinely different in veterinary care
This is not your typical front of house role.
You will be part of a team that is redefining an entire industry. A place where culture matters, where standards are high, and where the experience we create for members and pets is everything.
If you care deeply about people, love animals, and want to be part of something ambitious and meaningful, we would love to hear from you.
