We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Assist in food assembly, plating, and presentation to ensure visual appeal
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and notify management of any shortages or issues
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold a smooth kitchen operation and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles
• Previous experience in serving or working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the industry

Pay: From £12.86 per hour
