Multidrop Van Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role involves transporting temperature controlled goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. This is not a 9-5 position, start times will vary so flexibility is required. Weekend work is included.

If you have passed your driving test before 1997 - we'd especially like to hear from you as we are looking at hiring those with grandfather rights to start on vans and potentially go onto 7.5T - getting your CPC through us.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transport.
• Communicate effectively with the office regarding delivery schedules and any changes.

Experience

• Previous experience with temperature controlled deliveries is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and customers alike.
